As the only master's program in industrial engineering available at an accredited institution in the state of Connecticut, this unique experience at the University of New Haven prepares students for future advancement in systems optimization, quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering management, procurement, the efficient use of both human and technological resources, as well for management positions in operations, supply chain, and technology.

All applicants are required:
To hold an undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or a related field with a strong quantitative background, in addition to a competency in mathematics through calculus.

Go on offense with our B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Criminal Justice — and prepare to manage the security forces, cybersecurity professionals and other experts who stay one-step ahead of fraudsters and other white-collar criminals. The ultimate goal of economics is to improve the quality of life for all, but the ultimate reality of economics is that the resources to do that are limited. Choices and trade-offs are, therefore, a given. Where do we direct those limited resources? What are we willing to give up in order to make something else happen? It’s a complicated balance, and it’s the job of an economist to guide informed decision making. Because of the magnitude of this work, salaries for economics graduates are among the highest of any discipline.

As a marketing major at the University of New Haven you’ll complement a strong foundation in the principles of business by specializing in how e-commerce and marketing technologies such as social media, database marketing, Google AdWords, and data mining have impacted – and forever changed – the traditional study and practice of marketing

Students earning a B.S. degree in marketing are required to complete 121 credits, including the university core curriculum (40 credits) and the business program core (30 credits).    Further clarification and additional requirements are outlined below:

The B.A. program is distinctive in its treatment of music as a worldwide performance and cultural phenomenon, offering students the opportunity to define their degree track with courses and performance ensembles that meet and enhance their interests in music. The program is flexible, allowing students to focus on performance or musicology.

That need is steadily increasing as the world’s resources continue to shrink and cost effectiveness becomes paramount. Right now, the demand for industrial and systems engineers is actually greater than the current labor pool.

As an electrical engineering major at the University of New Haven, you will study the behavior of electrons in three areas — electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism — as you learn to design, develop, and oversee the operation of electrical and electronic systems.
