Capilano University has a comprehensive program for international students called Early Childhood Care & Education Pathway which spans over a period of 1 year. This program is designed as a result of collaboration between English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program. This program is specially designed for students who study at the top two levels of the EAP program. 

This program is exclusively designed for international students in order to work with their English speaking skills and help them gain credentials. The Pathway program allows students to begin getting credit for an ECCE credential which is beneficial when they wish to take up further post-secondary education. Upon successful completion of the Pathway Program, you will have earned 9 credits you can apply toward your ECCE credential.

This program is designed to develop the future managers and leaders in the global hospitality and tourism industries. You'll learn from award-winning faculty, training in key areas of Canadian and international tourism management, including revenue management, tourism planning and policy, service management, convention management, hotel operations, and cross-cultural tourism.

As part of this 16-month diploma, you'll participate in a 280-hour practicum (more information in Application Details), working in the hospitality area of your interest. Upon graduation, you may be eligible to apply for a three-year Post Graduate Work Permit.

Filmmaking is an art and this art is in high demand during the present time. All kinds of films whether commercial or art are gaining audience and one such genre is documentary making. Capilano University offers its undergraduate students a diploma in documentary making which spans over a period of 12 months. Through this program students are helped with developing skills needed to produce, direct, write and edit documentaries. Students work with trained, highly professional, award winning filmmakers and expert faculty members who guide the students at every step of the way.

The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University, the whole process of documentary making and learning starts from the ground level and gradually students are taught the tips & tricks of the trade. The program follows a professional production cycle from story concept and development, to pre-production, production, post-production and distribution and marketing phases. A number of graduates from this program work as award winning filmmakers and work from research and entry level roles to post production, students have succeeded in a variety of roles. 

The Human Kinetics Diploma with a major in Exercise Science is an undergraduate diploma which spans over a period of two long years offered by the School of Human Kinetics at Capilano University. This is a comprehensive program designed for students who wish to explore the human body and kinetics and make a career out of it. From subjects like biology, physiology, psychology to exercise and physical activity, kinesiology and so on, this program deals with a number of subjects and topics. 

Students are required to study about the relationship between human body and exercise and how they can positively inculcate exercise in human life. The aforementioned diploma prepares students for a career in exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and sport psychology and exercise management. After this program, students can continue their education with a degree program at other British Columbia universities such as BA in Kinesiology University of British Columbia. In the program, you'll train in many key areas, including behaviour principles, assessments and applications, supporting individuals with ASD and their families, assessment and intervention planning for children with ASD and using applied behaviour analysis with adults who have ASD and other developmental disabilities.

The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

International students and new permanent residents with an undergraduate degree completed outside of Canada can gain both North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

BBA is a four year bachelor’s degree program which deals with different aspects of business and financial management. Students are offered multiple subjects like tax, accounting, auditing, finance and many more.
