The Human Kinetics Diploma with a major in Exercise Science is an undergraduate diploma which spans over a period of two long years offered by the School of Human Kinetics at Capilano University. This is a comprehensive program designed for students who wish to explore the human body and kinetics and make a career out of it. From subjects like biology, physiology, psychology to exercise and physical activity, kinesiology and so on, this program deals with a number of subjects and topics. 

Students are required to study about the relationship between human body and exercise and how they can positively inculcate exercise in human life. The aforementioned diploma prepares students for a career in exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and sport psychology and exercise management. • The ECCE degree is a pathway to elementary teacher education programs at SFU and UBC.

Build the specialized skills to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

In the program, you'll train in many key areas, including behaviour principles, assessments and applications, supporting individuals with ASD and their families, assessment and intervention planning for children with ASD and using applied behaviour analysis with adults who have ASD and other developmental disabilities. 

The Rehabilitation Assistant program at Capilano University is offered by the School of Allied Health and is an undergraduate program that extends over a period of 2 years. The said program incorporates a number of important features which are to be followed by the students such as completing assigned tasks, use of appropriate language, time management, taking constructive feedback and inculcating practical skills necessary to fulfill the role of a rehabilitation assistant.

This is one of the few programs which combine occupational therapy, physiotherapy as well as speech/language audiology therapy. Rehab Assistants are mostly employed under acute care with the patients as well as at rehabilitation centres where the clients or patients need assistance in their day to day life. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.
