The program provides training in the skills required for on-site general carpentry and construction work, including the safe operation and maintenance of hand, portable, and stationary power tools. Students will study the layout and construction of a residential build from footings through roof framing. Emphasis is placed on developing and practicing the hands-on skills needed in the field.

Business - Finance is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program is designed to develop the skills needed to work in the growing personal financial services sector, from customer service to wealth management and financial planning. Students will learn to work with clients, evaluating their needs and offer advice on personal financial management, tax and retirement planning, insurance, investments, and estate planning, as well as customer relations and providing product to clients. Qualified graduates will have completed all the educational requirements leading to the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®) designation awarded by the Financial Planning Standards Council www.fpsc.ca. and the Registered Retirement Consultant® RRC® designation awarded by CIFP.

Students are also prepared to write the Canadian Securities Course® and Life Licensing Qualification Program examinations as prerequisites to securities and life insurance licensing. Students will also have completed the Mutual Funds Licensing course.

This program blends theory with hands-on application of theoretical principles delivered through course work and field practicum.  Students in this program will develop their knowledge and professional skills in areas such as child development and best practices in early childhood; the early childhood educator's role and responsibilities; the importance of play in children's learning; family involvement and curriculum design and implementation.
When the student graduates they will have the knowledge and necessary skills to work with children, families and community in the context of early learning and development programs for children from birth to age twelve. The student will be prepared to work in a variety of settings, including child care centres, early learning and family centres, Best Start programs, before and after school programs and with school boards.

This three-year, advanced diploma program follows a curriculum approved by the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO), the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CRST) and the National Alliance of Respiratory Therapy Regulatory Bodies (NARTRB), and is accredited nationally through Accreditation Canada.  College faculty, together with instructors from the clinical affiliates, provide the scientific foundation and clinical experience required to prepare students for practice at the entry-level within Ontario, as well as nationally and internationally.

This two-year conservatory program will give you practical experience in acting for the stage, mask work, play analysis, improv, and acting for the camera. You'll also take other specialized master classes and will work with professional artists on a graduating project that will come together as a professional production.

You'll be guided through a process of discovering a method of acting that brings out your full potential and you'll emerge with a deep understanding of Shakespeare, theatre history, movement for actors, and the business of acting. You'll emerge with a strong foundation for launching your professional career.

This program, as the name implies, shall give Engineering students a one-year, intensive training in the practical elements associated with their profession, such as CAD, Blueprint Reading, Machining and Welding.  The program has been created to complement the theoretical skills that they presently obtain in their formal studies.

The Addictions and Mental Health one-year program will be beneficial for seasoned practitioners who are committed to maintaining currency, and/or who are seeking career advancement. Students who are newly graduated from post-secondary may also wish to enroll in this program to deepen their knowledge and skill base prior to entering the workforce. Opportunities to work in varying sectors such as child, adult, family and gerontology-based programs may broaden for students who complete this Graduate Certificate. The intent of this program will be to ready students to work in a variety of Human Services settings such as community programs, residential care, social service programs, early childhood and family centres, recreation and leisure services, gerontology programs, group homes as well as any other settings that support prevention, intervention and treatment of addictions and/or mental health.

This program emphasizes the dynamic role of the Doula within communities to prepare graduates for a rewarding career collaborating with health care teams to honour and advocate for expectant families throughout the full spectrum of their reproductive journey. The curriculum captures the specialized evidence-informed knowledge, skills, and experience relating to anatomy, physiology, and the emotional, physical, and cultural aspects of pregnancy and birth required by Doulas to provide families with information and support during pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and including loss. In addition, students are introduced to business management/entrepreneurship concepts and strategies, including business ethics, contracts, marketing and sales techniques, and personal financial management.

• Examine the historical, political, and cultural aspects of the provision of maternity care both locally and globally and identify how they shape the experiences of contemporary mothering to meet the needs of clients.
• Apply knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of a woman during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum to address the concerns and needs of clients.
•  Provide evidence-informed physical, emotional, physiological, and psychosexual support to enhance the comfort, health, and well-being of individuals and families as they negotiate the various transitions associated with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
• Provide families with community and online resources related to the childbearing years to empower clients to make evidence-informed choices regarding pregnancy and birth options and newborn care, including infant and newborn nutrition.
• Describe diagnostic testing procedures and medical interventions routinely used during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period, and recognize the normal ranges and parameters for those test results.
• Identify early signs of maternal physical and mental health concerns, and refer clients to appropriate community resources in a timely manner.
• Foster professional relationships with clients, family members, caregivers, and other doulas.
• Establish and maintain a professional doula business in accordance with professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Digital Communication Management is a two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate program that is intended to prepare students to deliver messages in today's increasingly connected media environment. It is designed for students who want to expand their skills in the production and management of social media, media communications, video and audio production, photography, web and digital design.

Graduates will be able to leverage these skills in content strategy and curation, as well as user experience and design to develop significant opportunities for employment in almost any sector that wishes to engage or educate an audience.

In this one-year graduate certificate program, students will study analytical chemistry lab techniques, cannabis crop science, and microbiology in order to apply their scientific knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the emerging cannabis industry. The program prepares students to analyze cannabis for quality, safety, and stability, and contribute to research and development, including the development of new cannabis products. In addition to scientific techniques, students will study the regulatory context of the cannabis industry, and develop their scientific communication and project management skills.

• Collect, analyze and summarize data on cannabis cultivation to optimize yield and quality in a variety of production models;
• Perform all tasks in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and security measures for legal cannabis production and processing;
