Advanced Diploma in Fire Inspection and Fire Safety Education

Business - Supply Chain and Operations is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. The curriculum covers theory and application of supply chain management in private and public sector environments. Specifically, courses address material sourcing, transportation methods, inventory, retail management, negotiation skills and analytical techniques. Students also enhance their computer skills and their business communication skills. The program aligns to the curriculum of various professional associations in supply chain management. Graduates, equipped with the skills required to improve an organization's profitability and operations, are in high demand in both the private and public sector.

• The Business - Supply Chain and Operations program shares a common first level with all business diploma programs in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, which allows for program transfer, with no loss of credit, after Level 1.
• Students entering Level 1 of the program in January are expected to proceed into Level 2 of the program in the summer term.  Students entering Level 1 of the program in February or May will proceed to Level 2 of the program in September.
• Graduates may be eligible for admission to the following Graduate Certificate programs in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business: Agri-Business Management, Human Resources Management, International Business Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Professional Financial Services, or Project Management. Graduate Certificate programs deliver a specialized professional curriculum in two four-month levels.
• This program is eligible for consideration of college to college transfer of credits under the Ontario Provincial ONCAT agreement.
• Students who graduate from this program with a GPA of 3.0 or greater are eligible to receive Advanced Standing towards their Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation (4 modules and 2 workshops). 
• Articulation agreements exist with the Supply Chain Canada which provides advanced standing in the Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation program.
• Students may become members of the Fanshawe College APICS student chapter.

This multidisciplinary program shall expose students to aspects of electromechanical systems. Traditionally, similar programs of study have been found in the electrical/electronic disciplines. Graduates from these programs will also gain knowledge of the mechanical aspects of a system, such as the ability to read mechanical prints, understand tolerances, as well as understand the mechanical nuances of a system.

This program will expose students to both electrical and mechanical principles, allowing graduates from the program to be capable of analyzing, modifying, maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems. As such, the focus of the program shall be concurrent engineering with respect to products and processes. Students shall also be exposed to project management and quality systems. The program will culminate in a 15-week capstone project course where students shall be able to apply their knowledge and document it according to current industry practice.

Co-operative Education
In order to be eligible for co-op, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be academically complete at the commencement of their co-op work term.
This is a two-year Co-operative Education program delivered over three years due to the co-op pattern. Students who fulfill both the academic and co-op requirements of the program will be eligible to graduate with a Co-op Endorsed Diploma. This eight-month intensive Ontario College Graduate Certificate program in GIS, prepares graduates for employment in a wide range of land-based industries that utilize spatial and tabular data. The program is project-based, software-intensive, interdisciplinary, and focused on building flexible, current, high-end applied skills.  Students will gain mastery of foundational GIS skills and apply leading-edge techniques in GIS Science to create spatial solutions. Remote sensing, object-oriented programming, spatial analysis and modeling, digital photogrammetry, web map/web GIS and CAD skills will all be developed, and students will have the opportunity to apply these technical skills to their own areas of specialization (engineering, social sciences, humanities, community health or other sciences).

Co-operative Education

This three-year Commercial Flight and Aviation Leadership Advanced Diploma is designed to prepare domestic and international students for a career in aviation. 

The program includes training in the following areas:

• Safety management systems
• Canadian Aviation Regulations
• Flight operations
• Professional standards and practices

In this program students will complete a Canadian Private and Commercial Pilot license including night, multi-engine and instrument ratings.  Graduates will be able to seek opportunities in Aviation flight operations and business ventures as well as professional flight positions. 

Flight training will be delivered by Diamond Flight Centre London Inc., located at the London International Airport. The curriculum emphasizes a broad perspective of health and healing, health promotion and the ethic of caring. It takes into account health care needs in society and a changing health care system. The program educates nurses to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities in diverse settings which enables students to develop sensitivity to peoples' experiences with health, healing, and illness. Students learn to work in partnerships with clients, and interprofessional health care providers while actively participating in their own learning. Faculty and students work together in a collaborative, cooperative-learning relationship. Successful graduates from the program will be eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX - RN) for Canadian nursing entry- to-practice.

Journalism - Broadcast students learn skills to develop a career as a Broadcast Journalist in electronic media, radio, television and webmedia.  Develop story telling skills as a reporter using broadcast news gathering equipment, audio and visual, news writing, newscasting, news editing, interviewing, researching, documentary/current affairs production, sportscasting, newsbeats, news management, media law and media ethics.

Students operate four broadcast properties in Fanshawe College's School of Contemporary Media building, which is equipped with the latest in broadcast facilities.

The program provides students with the theoretical and practical training required to assist them in seeking employment as an Industrial Electrician Apprentice, Construction and Maintenance Electrician Apprentice, Network Cabling Specialist or Fire Alarm Technician.

This innovative four-year honours baccalaureate program offers students studies in early childhood development, early childhood pedagogy, human relationships, curriculum development and leadership skills, developing the necessary skills to engage as pedagogical leaders in a diverse range of roles in the evolving disciplines within early childhood education and care.  A key component of this degree is the applied learning that takes place in ideal sized classrooms, with a focus on case studies, research, three field placements, that culminates in one fourteen-week Internship between third and fourth year.  International internships are offered on a limited basis for qualifying students. In the final year, graduating students will participate in a major capstone course that provides students the opportunity to integrate their practical experiences and knowledge in a supervised research project. Opportunities for graduating students include early childhood positions in a variety of early years settings such as Early Childhood Educator, Supervisory Roles in Early Childhood, Designated Early Childhood Educator with Ontario school boards, social service agencies that provide early years programs, and opportunities to further study in Bachelor of Education (teacher college) and Master of Education programs.

Business - Payroll and Bookkeeping is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. The program provides graduates with knowledge of 1) payroll and human resources practices including compensation and benefits, and 2) bookkeeping practices and related accounting software applications. Graduates will have met the educational requirements for the Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation and will have three advanced standing credits towards completion of the Certified Payroll Manager designation with the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA). In addition, graduates will have also completed the academic requirements for the Certified Bookkeeper designation with the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping (CIB). Graduates will be well prepared for self-employment or for entry-level careers in accounting, bookkeeping, taxation and payroll administration in a variety of industries.
