Overview

The Photography program provides training for students in the professional aspects of the photography industry. Digital SLR instruction will prepare the student for work in photojournalism, architectural, advertising, fashion, product, industrial, public relations, portrait, and wedding photography. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of video and audio capture using DSLR cameras. Production work includes instruction in black and white and colour using digital printing systems. This program integrates the use of high-end laptops, digital imaging and video editing software in the curriculum.

The Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) program is a four-year, honours level degree with a mandatory co-op work term between Levels 7 and 8. The Broadcasting - Radio and Media Production program is a highly concentrated hands-on approach to training students for careers in radio broadcasting and emerging broadcast media.  Students operate four broadcast properties in Fanshawe College's School of Contemporary Media building, which is equipped with the latest in broadcast technology.  CIXX-FM (106.9) is Canada's first licensed instructional radio station at full power FM utilizing the latest digital control rooms and production equipment.
