In this two-year diploma program, you will gain in-depth knowledge of accounting, payroll and human resource practices and related technology applications. Optional Work Term
Students meeting all academic requirements may have the opportunity to complete an optional work term(s) in a formal work environment.  The work term(s) is similar in length to an academic semester and typically involves full-time work hours that may be paid or unpaid. In programs with limited work term opportunities, additional academic requirements and a passing grade on a communication assessment may be required for eligibility.  Eligibility for participation does not guarantee a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the optional work term stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

Mandatory Degree Co-op
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a paid position that is completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours of work. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

Seneca’s one-year Fashion Studies certificate program will introduce you to fashion design and fashion business that will inspire you to explore creative skills and design applications. You will immerse yourself in design, production, business and communication, including social media. From visual culture, trend forecasting to sustainable fashion, your studies will teach you to investigate the range of experiences offered to professionals in the industry.

Furthermore, upon completing this program, you will be able to make an informed decision about continuing your studies in other fashion programs within Seneca’s School of Fashion.

This two-year diploma program prepares you with the skills and knowledge to begin your career as a programmer. As a leader in developing relevant programs, we have the largest offering of computer studies programs in the province. You will also learn about security and a variety of operating systems including Windows, UNIX, Linux and IBM Business Computing.
