Field Placement
Field Placement is a valuable component of the Fashion Arts program and is a requirement for graduation.

This two-year diploma program prepares you for entry-level roles on the front line of the financial services industry.

You will learn fundamental business principles and practices that will allow you to provide financial advice related to day-to-day banking, credit and mutual fund investments. You will have the opportunity to complete industry-demanded courses that will open career opportunities in the investment and property and casualty insurance industries. In addition to the customer service training that you will receive as part of this program, you will choose further courses in one of four areas (emotional intelligence, business ethics, negotiation strategies, or intercultural behaviour and communication) to enhance your professional skills.

This two-year Computer Systems Technician diploma program offers you the skills and knowledge needed to meet the challenges of the ever-changing field of information technology administration. The Cloud Architecture & Administration graduate certificate program will provide you with knowledge and skills to become an essential part of a modern information technology (IT) team. You will learn how to effectively and securely integrate IT infrastructure, including cloud services, internet of things devices and traditional on-premises equipment. You will also develop an understanding of potential issues with privacy and the law and how to mitigate those risks. During the program, you will gain essential leadership and management skills, providing opportunities for you to advance in your career.

An optional work-integrated learning experience will offer an opportunity to expand your learning and apply skills to real-life work settings. You will also work on a capstone project that integrates knowledge and skills obtained throughout the program.

This program will develop your skills in leadership and innovative service models, digital management, predictive analytics and measurements, as well as live-data service with an intimate view of customer knowledge for the hospitality industry.

Fieldwork
Fieldwork is an integral element of your program that provides you with an opportunity to provide a real client a business recommendation for their business in the hospitality industry. You will benefit from 150 hours in a professional setting. This component is critical to your success and a requirement to graduate.

Mandatory Degree Co-op
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a paid position that is completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours of work. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

In this four-semester diploma program, you will learn about the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of children. You will understand how to develop and implement inclusive programming in order to support the healthy development of children ranging in age from infancy to school-age.

Your studies will include courses in child development, curriculum. philosophy of education, communication, working with families and administration.

Each week you will spend three days in class and two days practicing your skills in field placement. If you choose to study in the summer, you will have the option to earn your Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma in 16 months.
