The Department conducts state of the art training of undergraduates & postgraduates in diagnosis & treatment planning of malocclusions in patients. Further they are educated, guided and trained regarding the ill effects and treatment of malocclusions in different types of patients. The students are also made aware of motivational skills so as to motivate the patients to undergo treatment. In a nutshell the students are able to provide best treatment using contemporary techniques.

The M.M School of nursing was started in Sept,2004 with 50 seats for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3 year duration. The course is run by Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council (Panchkula). Later in 2006 INC granted 60 seats to our school. Since then, the school flourishing every year with 100% admission. Aim of school of nursing is to prepare competent and skilled female nurses who can provides quality of care to patients. 

The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology is considered as the backbone of Dentistry as it deals with the diagnosis of all the dental diseases. Further it is considered special as this department is a combination of Oral Medicine as well as Maxillofacial Radiology. Further, this department serves as a connecting link between dentistry and Medicine. The department serves and thrives to teach the students regarding the diagnosis and treatment protocol of different head and neck medical diseases. Since the oral cavity is considered as the mirror of the overall health of the individual, the students are made well aware of all these signs and symptoms. The department also imparts knowledge regarding the various psychological conditions having oral implications and vice versa. In a nutshell, the oral medicine department works as a part of a multi-disciplinary patient care team.

Training in Maxillofacial Radiology includes the knowledge and expertise in the acquisition and interpretation of radiographic images including IOPA’s and other intraoral as well as extraoral techniques. Training also includes the expertise in conventional and advanced maxillofacial imaging including CT and MRI as well.

It’s a branch of engineering which deals with processing of raw material, production, quality re-evaluation, packaging, storage and transportation, until and unless it is safe for consumption. It is a specialized course that helps the students gain an in-depth knowledge of the concepts of Food chemistry, Food Engineering and Food Preservation. This is a highly industry-specific course.

Course Objective

• To make students aware about the concepts of Food chemistry, Food Engineering and Food Preservation
• To give them in-depth knowledge off methods of assessing Life Cycle Nutrition, Food Processing and Food Preservation
• To apply theoretical concepts in laboratory setting as per standard methods in the above mentioned areas and Food hygiene and Sanitation
• To understand the applications of Food science in Food safety, Clinical interventions, Food Packaging and Processing
• To help the students acquire skills to undertake systematic research and maintenance of quality in the area of Food and Nutrition

Postgraduate program in Nursing adds on to the skills and competence acquired at the graduate levels. M.Sc. Nursing program is especially designed in sync with the needs of current healthcare industry. It emphasizes on the application of relevant theories into nursing practice and prepares nurses for leadership position in nursing and health fields. The students can explore work profiles like nurse specialists, consultants, educators, administrators and researchers in a wide variety of professional settings post completion of this M.Sc. degree in Nursing. M.M College of Nursing offers specialization at Master’s level in the field of Medical Surgical, Community Health, Pediatrics, Psychiatric & Obstetrics & Gynecology.

The 3-year B.Sc. Nutrition &Dietetics programme offers opportunities for students to develop Professional competencies in the areas of Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics. Under this programme, students are taught to focus on improving the nutrition status of the people. After the completion of B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics degree, a student turns into a qualified nutritionist & dietician, who educate people about proper food choices to promote healthy eating and healthy life-style.

Course Objective

• To create professional who can apply diet medical care to unravel advanced unhealthy state and deficiency disease connected issues in patients.

3-year full-time course having 6 semesters which accentuates to develop skilled manpower in the different fields of computer application like: Database Management System, Software Development, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Web based applications etc.

The programme is designed to generate employable IT workforce having sound knowledge of IT which can be used to produce and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

Objective

• To demonstrate the key concepts of computer science to speed up on all the latest technologies.
• Analysis and synthesis of computer systems, information systems and computer applications.
• Provide specialization in the area of technical, professional and communications skills.
• To develop practical skills to enable them to addressing problems which arise from different areas of Information Technology.

Optometry is the science of dealing with issues and problems related to the eye. A course in Optometry covers every aspect related to understanding the eye, problems, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases etc. MM(DU) follows the Ministry of Health guidelines and offers lateral entry in Degree course to diploma holders in Optometry in the 3rd semester to balance the gaps in diploma programs. The program covers both clinical and theoretical aspects. Students would get in-depth understanding and training to treat Cornea, Glaucoma, Low vision and Retina.

MM(DU) offers B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), a dedicated course that helps the students evolve as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist. An MLT is an important part of Medical team with full knowledge of diagnosis, prevention and timely treatment of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. As a professional, you would play a key role in identifying abnormalities in the samples such as malignancies, pathogens, or genetic abnormalities.

The BBA course aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The course not only provides knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the personality of the students.
