Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies (B.A. (Hons.) in Gender Studies) programme. The programme is designed in keeping with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Gender Studies as a discipline has gained immense prominence in contemporary times. The systematic inquiries of Gender Studies help understand the many social and historical contexts in the interplay of genders, gender inequalities and fight for equality, impact and relevance of social movements on gender, gender practices in various forms of societies, and the role of gender in social and cultural production. The intellectual diversity, rigor, and discourse of Gender Studies, while providing an epistemological consciousness and sprit of inquiry among students, sensitize them about gender issues in society which further help in engendering respect for gender equality and gender identities.

The internet age has brought on the need for a scientific approach to the study of journalism and the media. How do you find information, process it and communicate it for maximum impact in the 21st century? Our international, industry-benchmarked curriculum takes on a liberal arts approach informed by the social sciences. We provide a holistic, experiential education where our students learn to produce content for multimedia platforms. We also teach our students to situate their journalism and media practice within the broader context of democracy, social welfare and human rights.

Experiential learning at JSJC works in two ways. First, our state-of-the-art studios enable our students to create professional-grade content, closely supervised by our faculty. Second, we work closely with the Office of Career Services to obtain internship opportunities for our students. We have partnered with leading media platforms in India. Our students have written for the Hindustan Times, the Citizen, Indian Express and the Wire amongst others. We are also working closely with international partners to facilitate study abroad and semester exchange programmes for our students. In the past, our students have taken classes at the University of Sydney, Koc University in Istanbul, IDC Herzliya in Israel amongst others.

The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is designed to give a global business management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction. Today’s global economy rewards people who can traverse borders, understand cultures and operate in an international- context. With industry focus, this programme aims to make students proficient in learning software tools and best practices.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B (Hons)) programme since its inception in 2009. Through a combination of courses in Arts and Law subjects, the programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

• The B.A. LL.B course provides a holistic understanding of the legal discipline through a combination of humanities, and law. This multidisciplinary approach equips the students to apply the law to the facts.
• The students study foundational courses and get an opportunity to explore their interests via elective courses and independent research projects.
• They can explore various career options through internships with regulatory authorities, law firms, academic institutions, think tanks, public sector units, sectoral NGOs, public prosecutors, litigation, legal aid clinics, international law firms, judicial clerkships and international organizations.  
• The internships and Jindal Global Law School curriculum give them a broader understanding of the legal system and allows them to envisage diverse career paths (including higher studies). This enables them to be better prepared to enter the legal profession.
• At the end of the programme, a student of B.A. LL.B will learn how to communicate in a legal setup, interpret and apply laws, explore niche options in the legal industry, specialise in legal subjects of their interest and succeed in legal employment.

The three-year B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies programme at Jindal Global Law school aims to nurture legal imagination among young students and build a strong foundation to study law and social sciences in the future or be absorbed into legal and allied fields. This B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies  programme will be the first ever multi-disciplinary undergraduate degree in legal studies to be launched in 2020-21 academic year.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology degree is awarded following completion of a three-year undergraduate programme committed to the study of human mental processes and behaviour. The programme aims to instil the necessary knowledge and skills for each student’s personal and academic growth, nurturing the next generation of professional leaders in psychology, counselling, and related fields.

Employing a multidisciplinary approach, the JSPC curriculum ensures students gain a broad understanding of the psychological sciences. The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The program combines course from design and the liberal arts to produce professionals who are committed to understanding and making our built environment just, safe and equitable. Graduate of this program would be part of a team of professionals who ensure that building designs and construction happens in a manner that is historically sensitive, contextually appropriate and both pleasing and sensitive to the needs of its inhabitants

The programme is designed in complaince with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Criminology as a branch of knowledge is built on certain foundations which include a thorough understanding of criminal justice system, elementary knowledge of criminal law, and an appreciation of rule of law. Criminology improves the criminal justice system by contributing to the effective enforcement of criminal law. Through the programme, the School aims to build criminal justice professionals who can contribute to the administration of the justice by upholding the values of rule of law.
