Smart materials are materials that can respond to external stimuli such as stress, moisture, electric/magnetic field, temperature and pH. They are at the core of sensors used in smart electronics and comprise a huge variety of materials including piezoelectric, shape-memory, photovoltaic, thermoelectric, ferrofluids and self-healing materials. A student opting for this specialisation will be exposed to the properties, synthesis and application of these materials, and will be able to explore one of these material systems in-depth through the dedicated project work.

The program focuses on different aspects related to airline operations viz. ticketing, passenger profiling, passenger handling, baggage handling, boarding process, peak hour passenger management etc. This course enables students to handle airline operations at the airport terminal efficiently and smoothly.
