The non-thesis Master of Cybersecurity Engineering positions students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to protect our nation's systems against cyber attacks. The program will provide graduates with advanced knowledge in computer and network security, digital forensics, advanced operating systems, reverse engineering, and other areas of expertise.

The Hospitality Management (HOSP) program provides a strong educational foundation and excellent career preparation for students interested in the premium service segment of the hospitality industry. The HOSP curriculum offers a variety of courses and unique experiential learning opportunities designed to prepare our graduates to pursue successful management and/or entrepreneurial opportunities in the hotel/lodging, restaurant, event planning, culinary, country club, foodservice or beverage industries.

The Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRMG) option is designed to prepare students for careers in the premium service segment of the lodging and food service industries. This sector spans both the commercial and non-commercial aspects of the broader hospitality industry and presents itself as a key contributor to the economic wellbeing of the state of Alabama and the nation. The Bachelor of Science degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies program will equip students with the comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to succeed in philanthropic endeavors. In class, students will learn how to build solid personal and organizational financial foundations to support philanthropic projects and lead nonprofit enterprises. Course subjects include: collegiate consuming and giving, nonprofit studies, portfolio development, nonprofit law and governance, and gender, wealth and philanthropy.

The Department offers the Organismal Biology major leading to the Bachelor of Science degree.  The curricula for this major is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in biology as well as providing the opportunity for specialization. This program also provides a strong preparation for further study in graduate programs or in professional schools, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and other allied health fields.

The Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering program, offered on campus and online, prepares students to pursue careers in data science and engineering, where valuable insights are derived from massive amounts of raw data. Our high?quality curriculum offers an excellent balance between theory and application, equipping students with foundational skills and state?of?the?art technologies related to the next generation of big data applications.

On-campus students will be able to complete this graduate program in one to two years, while online students typically have up to six years to complete their coursework. This program blends graduate?level courses in core topics like data mining, machine learning, and statistical learning. The program also offers a wide variety of electives in addition to a required capstone experience, in which students apply their knowledge and skills to a real?world application scenario.

There are two formal options in the program: the data engineering option, administered by the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and the data science option, managed by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Both options are now available to online students.

With a major in business administration, you will get hands-on experience through coursework in areas of accounting, business analytics, marketing, finance, and management. You will also get the opportunity to focus or specialize your major elective courses to define your personal career goals.

Also included are resources such as metals, gemstones, fossil fuels, and groundwater. Processes are those found deep within the Earth where temperatures and pressures are high, as well as those that take place under low-temperature, low-pressure conditions at the Earth's surface, where organic as well as inorganic processes are found. The history of the planet is recorded in rock and mineral products and in the record of life as preserved by fossils.

With a growing emphasis on preventative health care and interest in health, wellness and improved quality of life among consumers and employers, Auburn University's degree option in Nutrition and Wellness is designed to prepare students for successful career entry into the broad health and wellness professions.
