Business - Supply Chain and Operations (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program with a co-operative education component. The curriculum covers theory and application of supply chain management in private and public sector environments. The Developmental Services Worker two-year diploma program prepares its graduates to support people with developmental disabilities so that these individuals may participate fully in their communities. DSW have the specialized knowledge and skills required to work with people with developmental disabilities across the life span.

Inherent to the role of a DSW is an ability to collaborate and build relationships with people with developmental disabilities and their families and to work with colleagues and members of inter-professional teams to facilitate a seamless network of support for people.

Courses focus on disabilities, person directed supports, inclusion and community resources, dual diagnosis, interpersonal skills, counselling, health, pharmacology, development, teaching and intervention strategies. Field placements in community agencies and/or schools are part of the curriculum.

The Fanshawe Customer Service Fundamentals – Insurance program will get you on the right path to employment success. Beginning with an overview of business and insurance customer service (theory and practice) with a focus on distribution systems, you'll learn everything you need to work in a customer service role in an insurance brokerage, agency or direct insurance writer's office. This program is a great first step to more qualifications and you'll walk away with diverse skills needed for the modern and dynamic business world. Available in a traditional in-class format with September admission.

There are options to transfer directly into the second year of Fanshawe's Business Insurance program and earn your diploma in just two additional semesters.

When you graduate, you'll be eligible to write your Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) or OTL licensing exams, you may also be eligible to obtain your General Insurance Essentials certificates from the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Landscape Design is a three-year co-operative program of study providing training in the design of many types of landscape areas, with emphasis on residential landscape design as well as experience with commercial and institutional sites. A variety of skills in areas such as drafting, computer-aided design, three dimensional modeling, design illustration and visualization are combined with the knowledge of design theory, plant and hard materials, landscape construction and new technologies to provide students with the skills necessary to source employment in the expanding field of landscape design.

Qualifying graduates of the Landscape Design program, have the option to receive advanced standing into a related Honours Bachelor's Degree in the Environmental Design and Planning program at Fanshawe College as well as the Landscape Architecture program at the University of Guelph where they may continue their studies.

Co-operative Education:-

Fanshawe College's Law Clerk (Co-op) program is designed to provide students with a solid grounding in legal principles combined with the practical law clerk training that students will need to enter the diverse, fast-paced modern field of law. As a graduate of the Law Clerk program you will work as part of a team in law firms, corporate legal departments, financial institutions, insurance companies, legal technology providers, title insurance companies, Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments or in any other capacity where a legal environment exists. Depending upon your choice of career path, you could find yourself preparing motion records and trial documentation, interviewing witnesses, arranging trial dates and adjournments, drafting corporate/commercial documentation, completing Family Law Act financial statements, administering estates, negotiating leases, administering contracts, completing legal research, searching titles or processing real estate transactions. At Fanshawe College you will learn about many areas of Canadian law including civil litigation, corporate/commercial, debtor and creditor rights, real estate, landlord and tenant, estate administration, family law and contracts.
