Overview

This one-year graduate certificate program is designed for university and college graduates seeking a career in the operations management sector. This program will be completed in two levels and be delivered using both face-to-face (web-facilitated) and blended methods.

The curriculum will focus on applied knowledge in the field of business operations within a global economy. It will include the planning and management of all operations involved in businesses of varying size and complexity (e.g., supply chain elements, purchasing, production and operations planning and control, transportation and distribution, project planning, quality assurance).

It is a three-year, seven level program with up to 16 months of paid co-op experience. Students will study electrical system design, automation, power generation/distribution, and develop practical skills. Our Three-Year Advanced Diploma provides comprehensive training to students wanting to enter the professional industry of Graphic Design. Business - Marketing is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program provides students with a strong foundation to gain entry to a variety of marketing career paths. Hands-on activities include market research studies, advertising campaigns, sales and business plans - many of these activities involving live clients from industry. Business - Insurance is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program is designed to prepare students for positions in the property and casualty insurance industry. Students will study forms of general insurance, underwriting, claims investigation, risk analysis and contracts.  Students have the opportunity to complete nine of ten credits toward their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation issued by the Insurance Institute of Canada.  Graduates work in high-demand areas of insurance such as underwriting, claims adjusting, brokerage or agency services and risk management.
