For consideration in this category, graduates must have achieved an average of 70% or higher over the duration of the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway program. If there are more applications from graduates with 70% or higher than reserved seats available, a selection process based on an average of overall marks will take place.

Throughout the Pre-Health Sciences program, you will learn in a supportive environment and gain hands-on experience in our chemistry and biology labs. Our health curriculum is integrated, and you will also take college-level courses to help you become a competent communicator and problem solver, with the critical analytical, creative and logical thinking skills needed in the workplace. In addition, you can earn from two to four credits towards your subsequent college diploma, depending upon your program choice.

Instrumentation technicians commission, install, calibrate, maintain and repair complex measurement and control systems used in a variety of process control applications.

Students in this program may have the opportunity to apply to paid summer co-ops. Examples of companies that have sponsored co-ops include: OPG, SGS, Andritz Hydro, Horizon Plastics, and Opcode Systems. The co-op runs during the summer between years one and two. This co-op allows you to build on your academic education, experience the work environment and make valuable contacts in one of the many diverse industries requiring instrumentation technician professionals.

ENTRY TO UNIVERSITY
Trent University Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
This program was developed in collaboration with Trent University. As a result, Trent University will grant a total of five first year credits (in English, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, plus one unassigned credit) to graduates of this program who achieve an overall average of 70%, and no individual grade of less than 65% in their Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Composition and Critical Analysis courses. Successful program graduates will have obtained the credits required for first year of Trent's Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. (Other Trent degree programs also recognize these Fleming courses for advanced standing.)

Trent University Indigenous Bachelor of Education
To be eligible, applicants are required to self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit, and must also have achieved a 75% cumulative average in the University Transfer program. Successful applicants will be awarded five credits out of the 25 credit degree.

Carleton University Bachelor of Arts
At Carleton University, program graduates with an overall average of 70% or higher may be granted up to five full transfer credits, equivalent to first year towards the Bachelor of Arts degree.
A growing number of other universities recognize the program for significant credit towards their degrees.

Program Highlights
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate where students learn how to design and create software by embedding AI into applications that meet industry needs. Modern software design and AI frameworks, machine learning, and big data fundamentals are the basis of this program.

This program will be delivered in a hybrid format with online lectures and face-to-face computer labs where students will apply their knowledge and skills to applied projects. The program also includes applied research and applied learning experiences throughout the curriculum culminating in a second semester capstone project course.

Students will learn to obtain and analyze data sets in deep learning and machine learning applications, work collaboratively using principles of project management, and design and create software to fulfill industry project requirements. All work completed in the program will be in accordance with relevant legal statutes and ethical codes. In addition to gaining technical knowledge, students will expand their skills in project and time management, collaboration, independent initiative, and communication.

Experiential Learning
The program features a workplace applied project in the second semester. This allows you to interact with industry partners, building your collaboration and communication skills at the same time as gaining real-world experience and knowledge in your area of study. The Personal Support Worker program gives you the training and credentials to provide practical support services to individuals and families in need of help. It's a satisfying, people-focused career.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
As a graduate of the Personal Support Worker program, you will provide support services to individuals and families in need of assistance. With this satisfying, people-focused career, you will be prepared to assist children, adults, and seniors with special needs or disabilities, and help them maximize their life experience. This two-semester Personal Support Worker program may particularly appeal to those re-entering the workforce. In total, you'll get approximately 400 hours of relevant theory and approximately 300 hours of real-life, clinical training. The focus of this program is on:

Positioned at the convergence of science and art, the Environmental Visual Communication program is designed to fill a recognized need for individuals who are passionate about environmental issues and storytelling and who want to effectively engage people to foster change.

With a focus on strategic messaging and technical savvy, you will learn to use photography, videography, multimedia and design principles to bridge environmental competencies with thoughtful communication through diverse media channels.
