This program will prepare you to design, build, implement and maintain complex computer and software solutions that are efficient, reliable and secure. The degree’s emphasis is on artificial intelligence (AI) in solving software engineering problems. Courses focus on software engineering criteria in the areas of mathematics, natural sciences, engineering design and engineering science.  

Your studies will include two mandatory, co-operative, four-month work-integrated learning experiences — one between semesters 6 and 7 and another between semesters 7 and 8. In your final year of the program, you will choose from Professional Option courses such as robotics, parallel programming and computer vision. You will also undertake a substantial industry-driven group project.

Mandatory Degree Co-op
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a paid position that is completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours of work. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

This two-year diploma program in accounting will introduce you to the accounting practices, related technology applications, business fundamentals and the soft skills needed to find employment. You will learn how to use computer applications like Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access relational database management software.

As a student of this program, assuming specific course grade and GPA requirements are met, and upon completion of five bridging courses, you will be eligible to directly enter Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance (BACF).

The two-year Cosmetic Techniques and Management diploma program will immerse you in a thriving industry with skills and knowledge that employers and clients value. This program offers a fall term start and a winter term start with different delivery options.

This three-year advanced diploma program provides you with the skills and knowledge to begin your career as a software developer. You will learn programming languages, program design and system analysis. Web concepts are integrated into all courses to develop active database web programs on a variety of operating systems. Advanced techniques are taught through professional option courses.
You will demonstrate skills through a capstone project for an industry partner in your final year to demonstrate your skills and preparedness for a career in the industry. Graduates of this program will enter the industry with highly employable programming, database, software development and communications skills.

Eligibility for participation does not guarantee a work position will be secured. This eight-month graduate certificate program will provide you with an in-depth understanding of how to lead and manage a non-profit organization towards sustainable growth. You will learn about program planning, development and evaluation, transparent and ethical corporate governance, and marketing and sales practices. You will explore the latest trends in fundraising, partnerships-building, and volunteer engagement.  

You will also learn how to apply common 'for-profit' business practices that are adapted and applied to a non-profit organization. Drawing on local, national and international cases, you will be exposed to the diversity of the sector and the challenges in managing large and small organizations.

The Honours Bachelor of Data Science and Analytics program is the first-of-its-kind in Ontario. This four-year degree program was designed to meet the growing need for data-driven business solutions.
