Smart grid and computing represent a new generation of hardware, software and network that connect physical infrastructure with analytic computing systems. Frequently occurring high impact low probability natural disaster and cyber-attack creates the need for future-ready resilient smart grid. The challenges and opportunities of emerging and future smart grids can be addressed by computing techniques. The objective of this minor specialisation is to provide different computing applications for energy management in the smart grid architecture and science of resilient smart grid against natural disaster and cyber-attacks.

B.Sc (H) Physics, with specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Computational Physics would be a full time 3-year undergraduate program in Physics.
